Panjab set for training at St Georges Park

st georges 3g pitchPanab FA’s Panjab national football team, are delighted to announce, the final training session before flying out to the ConIFA world football cup 2016, will be at St Georges Park on the 22nd May 2016.

This is another landmark moment for Panjab FA, following the recent fixture 0-2 defeat to the Jersey FA national football team, headed by Brian Little at the Aggborough Stadium home of Kidderminster Harriers FC.

The squad will arrive on the Sunday morning and take 2 training sessions during the day, either side of the squad lunch together.

Chairman and founder Harpreet Singh believes this this a clear message of the standards Panjab FA want to set moving forward. ” It is a crucial milestone to train at St Georges Park for us, the home of football. We will train on the 22nd May later this month and spend the day together, to train, prepare and further strengthen our team spirit.

Plus I feel this was fitting gesture of appreciation for the players and management, with our final training session prior to flying off together to Russia. We are going with the intent to do very well and hopefully, with a bit of luck, bring back the ConIFA world football up 2016 title, putting the credentials and the future of Panjabi football, firmly on the International football map.
